Filibertos Delivery?

I was rummaging through the log files just now and noticed a couple of referrals for Filibertos delivery. Living in San Diego for 14 years, I am familiar with Filibertos taco shops. There are many taco shops in San Diego, as you might suspect, and one of my favorite past times was finding a new 'tos taco shop. For whatever reason, most of the taco places in town ended with "tos". Finding a new one was a major event and warranted calling all of your friends in San Diego and letting them know about your new find. But, it seems that no matter what the name was, they all make great burritos, tacos and other Mexican food. It also comes as no surprise that Phoenix, Arizona is home to Filibertos as well. Many people from Phoenix spend time in San Diego during the summer time to escape the intense Arizona summers. So, why wouldn't they have some of San Diego's finest restaurants in their own city? Hopefully, the Filibertos in Phoenix delivers, making it the ultimate taco shop.

Q's San Francisco

Located between 3rd and 4th streets on Clement is Q Restaurant. Q's is a great neighborhood joint serving up traditional cozy foods with a little bit of flair. At Q's you can find everything from a hamburger with bacon and cheese to baby back ribs to Salmon. The atmosphere is great, the service is great and of course the food is great as well. Just be sure to get there before 8pm as you will have a nice wait if you don't.

Thai Delivery

Most people are used to pizza delivery and of course, Chinese food delivery. But, most people are not used to Thai food restaurants that deliver. I did not grow up eating Thai food, but when I tried it in college, I loved it. I guess I was under the impression that I was going to be eating dog or something, but I could not have been farther from the truth. Thai food is very simple and very good to say the least. But, you are not here to listen to me tell you about my history with Thai food are you? You are probably here because you want to find a place, near you, that delivers Thai food. Well, we can help. Check out our Thai food delivery page for more information. You can search by city or zip code and find a great Thai restaurant near you.

Food for Thought

Have you ever noticed that eating certain foods will make you tired? I am sure you have. I have been a lot more concious about the foods I eat lately, especially those that I eat for lunch. My nickname, in some circles, is, "The Deliman." I should probably not be publicizing this, but who cares. The fact of the matter is, I love sandwiches and that is partially why I hold that name. But, having a nice big sando for lunch is pretty much a giant sleeping pill for me if I am going to be working or attempting to think for the rest of the afternoon. So, I have been making a point to eat much lighter (volume of food and types of food) at lunctime. It is pretty amazing what a difference it has made in how much energy I have. Eating a bowl of soup for lunch is a heck of a lot more satisfying than I could have ever imagined. Did I mention I am 6'4" and weigh about 215? Yeah, and a bowl of soup will fill me up. It is pretty amazing. But, more than feeling full, I can function. I can think clearly and not get tired.

So, leave the pizza and pasta for dinner. Don't eat a turkey club for lunch with a side of fries...unless it is Saturday and you need a nap.
